I was thinking that the Power Ponies must have actual designs, so I thought, hey, what if the Power Ponies real designs were some of the toy designs. This is Waterfire www.strawberryreef.com/Index/N…
The leader of the Power Ponies and a marine biologist. Waterfire went to Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns as a foal, earning her a baby dragon named Smokey. She's technically Smokey's adopted mother, but she prefers to act as his sister. Waterfire was working on her aquarium one night when she was kidnapped by The Mane-iac to make her a special underwater lair. Using the materials provided by The Mane-iac, she instead fashioned herself a magical horn mask that allowed her to freeze over The Mane-iac while she was taking a bath and escape. She began testing her new frost powers in her lab, hoping to rescue her science experiments that she had left with the villain. The frost from her ice rays attracted Pepperdance, who's garden was frozen over by accident. They teamed up together to defeat the Mane-iac permanently (or as permanently as comics get with their villains) and saved the day, forming a duo.
