So I spotted Donald Duck's nephews from the comics, and a little of Donald, and I noticed that they had no manes (there's no separation from their 'manes' and their coats. the line isn't drawn and it's the same color as their coats), just fluffy duck/deer bobtails and fuzzy extra fluff for a mane. I thought about it and realized I could just make them a new species because, fuck it I want to.
The Hooviet Union is an Equestrian settlement in the middle of the Borean Tundra, conquered by Commander Hurricane after the new nation of Equestria wished to find new territory, and found a patch of land where it was snowing, yet the trees were in full bloom, and the flowers grew. They soon discovered the native ponies had split away from Equestria after the smooze overtook their hometown and the unicorn nobles and pegasi refused to help rebuild or allow them to live on their land. The pegasi and unicorns who disagreed with the nobles intolerance joined the town and left to find new land. They found a small patch of land in the freezing snow that had a small bit of grass on it. The earth ponies worked the land to make it bear fruit, and the pegasi cleared the snowing clouds so the snow wouldn't fall on the plants. Due to that, they were forced to put away their differences and live together. Over time their fur became thicker, and manes became furry. Now, the Hooviet union is a major part of Equestria, and their distinctive furry bobtails and manes. Despite how different they look, they have nothing special about them besides their fur. The unicorns have no special magic different than the others, their pegasi are the same, and they're just fluffy. Males have a bit of fringe on their chests.
