The latest installment; Faeries!
In this world, faeries are a lot more insectoid than the traditional faeries you see. There are several species of faeries, but the most organized and social faeries are the Honey Faeries, who are very advanced with their technology and internal communication. They live in hives all over the world, but their capital is a massive tree, the insides of which are high tech octagonal chambers, each floor having it's own use, and organized to the letter. They have four arms, and they use their tiered hands differently. The top hands are for communication and gestures and such, while the bottom hands are the ones they use for eating food and cleaning up and junk.It is extremely, extremely rude to extend your bottom hand in a greeting. Do not do that. It's one part 'I want you to shake the hand I use for gross things' and another part 'I consider you too gross to shake my good hand with you' and none of it is good at all. Please do not do this. Those little feet boots might not be poisonous or detachable, but they are very pointy and very hard. Do not anger the cute little faeries, lest they stab you with their feet.
Females and males are synonyms in their cultures for bees and wasps respectively. These are their versions of gender naming, meaning that they refer to their partners as beefriend and waspfriend, and so on. Despite this, they use the more standardized pronouns, because it's very hard to communicate with their own pronouns (being unable to be properly vocalized by other races). The males are encouraged to shave their chest fuzz as a coming of age deal.
