Personality (from the picture): He's a grouchy old dude who can't grasp the concept that just because he has a hard time hearing doesn't mean he has to scream back through his ear-horn for others to hear him. He visits his son's place frequently, but he still has his own house. He's a massive believer and irritating enforcer of the phrase "If it's yellow, let it mellow. If it's brown, flush it down." He's frequently constipated, so his whole house reeks of days-old pee. When he visits the younger Dashes, despite his half-deafness, he always knows when someone flushes and goes into interrogation mode. And don't even get him started on his "back in the day" stories. Like most old ponies he enjoys regaling the days of the past with his grandchildren. However his are about psychedelic drug trips, having sex with flower-child mares, and ranting about the times when music had a message. He cultivates his own supply of pot, but keeps forgetting that it's legal (it wasn't "back in the day") in Equestria and always hides it in the toilet tank. Visits from grampa are an interesting time...

I just figured I'd draw him in fully canon style.
