Dusty Dunes

Welcome to the Miracleverse! AKA, the Disliked Ships AU, but I don't use this as a platform for hate. While the universe is slightly... twisted, they are all options that could have happened in the main TFIMverse. They're a chance to do things with the... standard ships that people have, and using them in new ways, as well as a platform for interesting characters. I want to do some different things with the designs, so I may note the standard designs I tried to avoid with each design. These designs have been done for... an embarrassing amount of time, so expect a lot of the designs at once, I finally decided to upload them. This was done on September ‎08, ‎2016.
Honestly, there is no standard for the designs of Stableloose foals, hopefully because everyone understands that the ship is about 20 kinds of fucked up. Ok, I'm sorry, I hope everyone who ships them doesn't ship them as they are in the show because... uh... look I'm moving on quickly.
Dr. Stable Heart and Screwloose's young colt, Dusty Dunes, is... um... not exactly the cleanliest foal? He's.... um... well, the result of an extremely illegal, questionably immoral tryst between a doctor and his extremely mentally ill patient who is incurably insane due to a magical incident in her childhood, luckily, during a period in which they had attempted some potions and magical trickery to see if she could be cured. It worked.. for a short time. I don't really want to talk much about what they did together, mostly because..... anyway, he quickly tried to forget about it when the procedure was a failure, and hoped that would be the end of it. But Screwloose was pregnant,and had a small colt, who she refused to let the orderlies touch. After the potion failed, her behavior became more aggressive and less responsive to the doctors in general, and being with foal is most likely the reason, but the temperament she displayed didn't go down. It was obvious who was the father, and Dr. Stable had only enough time to name the colt before getting ALL of the fired and banned from medicinal practice, leaving Dusty with his mother.
They've made several attempts to separate the poor colt from his mother, but Screwloose has been impossible to deal with, preventing the separation. Dusty, on the other hoof, is inconsolable when separated from his mother and is unable to speak, simply yowling and trying to get his mother's attention. Earth pony strength has led to a few times where Screwloose outright burst out of her room to find her foal. They're still trying to get Screwloose's trust in the doctors back, but her extreme maternal behavior is making it hard; if they can't separate the two, they're trying to figure out how to integrate Dusty into pony society and teach him, but.. it's a work in progress. His mane is completely unchecked due to... well, anyone who tries to come close to the colt with scissors getting bitten and kicked and fought by an angry mother. This means he toddles along at a snails pace, tripping over himself, massive (compared to his tiny frame) tail trailing behind him, his eyes covered by his hair. The one orderly allowed around him, a young mare, is known as the only one who Screwloose lets take care of him besides her, she's often seen taking Dusty around town sometimes, carrying him.  Anyone who laughs at him gets a stern talking to and is generally just a jerk. She's teaching him stuff, but as he's had his development stunted, things are hard. She's working on possibly getting his mane and tail cut, but it's likely she's going to have to take it slow.
